I have a few primers, all designed to do a different job. Each day I feel I have to choose whether I want to use a primer that is either luminizing, pore reducing...ect ect.
So the long and short of it is that I decided to mix them all together and see what the outcome on my skin was.
My Porefesional reduces pores (full review here)
Smashbox luminizes (full review here)
And That Gal brightens and smooths.
I pop a small amount of each on the back of my hand, mix together with the end of a makeup brush and dab all over my face to be buffed in with my Real Techniques buffing brush.
Here is a before and after picture. Left is my bare face and right is the primed.
My skin tone looks brighter and more even with a healthier look.
These primers are good on their own but I never see too much of a noticable difference.
Used all together however I think they work flipping wonders, and leave my skin looking how I wish it would look naturally.
Throw on some powder and a lick of mascara and this is a perfect natural "no makeup" look.
I did not follow my own advice and put on a lot more than was needed... If only makeup wasn't so much fun!
Benefit Porfesional is available from their website here for £23.50
That Gal here for £21.50
And Smashbox here for £25
