Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream- Fresh Face To Full Face Review

I have been trying out another BB cream in my on going quest for the perfect face product, the one that will make my glow like a princess and look like a model...I wonder why I'm yet find it? ;-)
Today brings a review of Maybellines Dream Fresh BB Cream, one of my "fresh face to full face" jobies.
The packaging is a bit blah. I think it looks a bit like it is aimed at younger people? I don't know, it just looks a bit "teenage" maybe?
Anyway, onto the product. It feels really light and liquidy (liquidy is a word now ;-) incase you weren't aware) almost more moisturiser like than that of a makeup product.
When it is applied to the face it blends outwards and spreads well but as far as blending into the skin, it was a little streaky. I used my Real Techniques buffing brush but found that I also had to use my fingers to smudge away any streaks that were left behind. So as far as giving a natural look that one looks for in a BB cream, it is easy to tell that I had applied it.
It does feel very hydrating, moisturising and fresh but left a somewhat sticky or clammy feel to my skin. I had to let it rest for quite a while before applying the rest of my makeup.
The SPF in this BB cream is brilliant! At SPF 30 Maybelline have done really well when thinking about sun protection. Most highstreet BB creams don't feature such high SPF's, Garnier's BB cream only has SPF 15!
So bare face to full face:
Bare moisturised skin
Just the BB cream on my face in the shade Light 001, buffed in with a brush and blended with fingers
Full face of makeup
Positives:
This BB cream is oil free and non greasy but still manages to give a fresh dewy look to the skin. It blurred any imperfections and feels light. It also has great SPF.
Negatives:
It leaves a clammy or sticky feel to my skin. not as blendable as I would like, meaning it doesn't look as natural. I don't like the packaging, trivial I know.

This BB cream comes in four shades, those being light, medium, dark and universal glow (I have no idea what that last one is and can't find much info on it??)
You can buy it from Boots here for £7.99 (currently on 3 for 2)
You can currently get a free sample of this BB cream on Maybelline's Facebook page here.
