Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

Yay for a new Revlon product!
The new Just Bitten Balm Stains have launched in the UK in 7 shades (why do the US always get the full colour range?!).  I got mine in the shade Lovesick.

What a great product! More long lasting than the ever famous Lip Butters and more hydrating that the Just Bitten pen lipstains. So really, the best of both products, put into one cute chubby pen.
I have not tried the Clinique Chubby Sticks but I hear that these are comparable, and more affordable so that's a bonus!
When a lip product is advertised as a hydrating one, I get reservations about the staying power. I shy away from bright reds and pinks as I hate that constant need to check the mirror and reapply. With this being a stain as well as a hydrating balm, I feel a lot more confident wearing it!
Wear time seems good, the last 3 hours that I have been wearing it has seen virtually no wear at all. Even when the balm starts to wear away, the colour stays.
I sat drinking a glass of banana milk (Yum!) shortly after applying  and transfer onto the glass was virtually nothing and no reapplication needed! Bonus!
I now need these in every colour!
These are at an introductory price in Boots of £5.99 so grab them! The price goes up to £7.99 at some point.
The packaging is cute and again, not dissimilar to the Clinique Chubby Sticks. The silver at the bottom twists the balm up so no need to madly rummage through every drawer in the house looking for that special pencil sharpener with the big enough hole even though you could have sworn you put it back where it "lives"...Just me?!
Have you tried these new balm stains yet?

  1. I got honey few months ago from the states... They're not bad but I still prefer the Clinique ones, they're much more moisturising.
I need to try the tarte crayons now. :) x
