Products I Regret Buying

My lovely friend Mez did a post on her blog recently about products she regrets buying for various reasons, you can read it here
You can build up quite the little stash of dusty products you wasted your minimum wage on. Especially when impulse buying.
So here is my sad, unloved little collection. Some of it too pretty to part with despite never getting used.
MAC

MAC Lustre lipstick in the colour Pretty Please.
It doesn't suit me. Does nothing for my complexion and completely washes me out. I was being rushed by the toddler and boyfriend I had in tow.
Constant "I'm bored" sigh's and trouser leg pull's lead to bad purchase decisions.
 Ojon
Ojon Damage Reverse Shampoo and Conditioner.
The smell. Hmmmm the smell. It is beyond odd and so far I am unable to find anyone who can pin point the exact scent.
It strangly left my hair quite frizzy at the end's and the root's getting greasy within a day.
Others swear by this stuff but it just isn't doing "it" for me. Whatever "it" is.

Benefit
Triple Performing Facial Emulsion
Too heavy for my skin unfortunately. It left quite a film on my face and I prefer really light moisturisers that sink straight in, disappearing from sight.
Maybe good as an overnight moisturiser though?

NARS
NARS Powder Blush in Gilda
Another rushed shopping experience of not wanting to keep people waiting for me.
The sales girl on the counter wasn't much help. I was clearly struggling to decide and settled on a blush FAR too red for my complexion. I can make it work with a tan and a very light hand but with it being difficult to use I just don't reach for it.

L'Oreal
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes - Diamonds
It's annoying. It constantly blinded me with flecks of blurry glitter. Sparkly packaging and J-Lo on the advert caused me to part with my money.

Maybe there will be a part two to this post at some point.
Make that definitely as my incessant product buying on a whim continues...

  2. I feel pretty 'meh' about some of the MAC lipsticks I have owned, especially annoying when they aren't cheap. I love OJON but haven't tried the shampoo/conditioner but I love the treatments it does smell odd though!

  3. I have that mascara and I'm definitely not a fan either. These impulse/rushed buys happen a lot of me too.
