GlossyBox March 2013

I sneaked a few peek's at some spoilers this month. I just couldn't help myself!
Based on being City-chic ready with an extra cute little booklet full of info on big cities around the world and a page of adorable stickers.
Contents

Nails Inc Nail Polish - St. James
Vibrant true red polish from the huge brand Nails Inc. You can't go far wrong with nail polish from Nails Inc, they make great quality polishes. That being said, how many reds do I already own and already not wear?! More than I'd care to admit I think!
£11 for 10ml
4ml sample size

Tresemme - Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray
Not a new product for me (or anyone?!) but one that will be added to anyone's stash and used up in due course. Another "safe" product that people won't be too opposed to receiving as it will come to some kind of use at some time or another.
£4.69 for 500ml
Handy 100ml travel size

Jelly Pong Pong - Lip Blush
I have tried Jelly Pong Pong before when I saw it at the Britain's Next Top Model show.
It was ok but not a brand I would reach for over other brands in my collection. Just a bit so-so in regards to quality. Housed in a twist up lip crayon like the Revlon Balm Stains or Clinique Chubby Sticks.
£12 for 2.5g
Full size in box

Elizabeth Arden - Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
An extremely cult product in the beauty world. Much raved, much blogged about.
This is actually the first time I will be trying it. Last beauty blogger to ever try it?!
There are such mixed reviews on this that I can't wait to try it for myself!
The most multi purpose product perhaps? For chapped lips, rough skin, dry hands, refresh skin, shape brows (?!) condition cuticles...The list really does not stop.
£25 for 50ml
7ml sample.

Juicy Couture - Couture La La
So I may have just found my new summer scent...One spritz and I'm already imagining myself on the beach.
'Tis a gorgeous bright, bold scent of florals.
£63 for 100ml
1.5ml sample

Not bad, but not great. Brands I have seen and tried before but also well known brands I have been yet to try.
I'm waiting for a box to come along and introduce me to a completely new brand, but maybe that's the problem with being a beauty blogger, no stone is left unturned?

  2. See I like it, but then I'm such a newbie to beauty that everything is exciting to me lol

Am a bit disheartened to hear that some people got a loccitane product in place of the perfume sample, mind you... but that's that I guess - We all pay the same price but don't get the same things, that's how beauty boxes work
