GlossyBox April - Pearl Lowe Colaboration

I got home from Spain today to my GlossyBox slung over my back gate (Hermes at it's best). I have already seen some spoilers as I knew I'd be on holiday when it came and I just couldn't wait that damn long!
This month is a stunning limited edition GlossyBox in all it's floral vintage glory! Designed by Pearl Lowe (how can you not be fabulously vintage with a name like Pearl?! Love it!)
I have to say I adore when GlossyBox pull a different limited edition box out the bag, they look so lovely stacked up in my bureau filled with ribbon and buttons.

Firstly, I'm just gonna come out and say it. I bloody love my box contents! Everything is great. Everything is useable. Nothing "meh" about it. Yay!

Nip and Fab - Pistachio Sundae Dry Skin Fix Body Butter.
It. Smells. Incredible. Like the most edible scent I have ever smelt. Like the inside of a bakery in Paris (I imagine) I would repurchase based on the scent alone!
Full size is £9.95 for 200ml
50ml sample

Essie Nail Laquer - Bikini So Teeny
A stunning cornflower blue with silver flecks that glisten. It's a gorgeous colour and oh so perfect for spring! I have a few colours similar to this but Essie have such a great reputation that I welcome this little treasure into my collection with outstretched (now perfectly painted blue) nails.
Full size £7.99

Illamasqua - Medium Pencil - Fidelity
Illamasqua are one of my all time favourite, most reached for brands. I love their products and their company values.
I got my pencil in a brown shade which, again, is perfect. I never wear black eyeliner as I find it far too harsh, instead opting for brown. This pencil is also perfect for brows and happens to match my eyebrow colour.
Full size £13.00

Crabtree and Evelyn Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy - Somerset Meadow
Once you push past the brand being associated with last minute Christmas gifts for grandma, it's actually a brand that has been around, and well known for a long time for a reason. The products work.
I probably wouldn't buy this for myself but now I have one, it smell's amazing, sinks straight in and is the least greasy handcream I have used in a long time. 'Tis an unexpected hit with me.
Full size £14 for 100g
25g sample size (perfect handbag size)

Yves Rocher - So Elixir Purple Eau De Parfum
Quite musty or woody. It doesn't make me love it at first sniff but I applied it to my wrist and left it to adapt itself. It actually became quite a nice mysterious scent. I like the small bottle as opposed to the little vial perfume samples usually come in that never get used.
Full size 50ml for £44

There were a few variations this month again, and I have to say that my feelings towards this box could have easily swung in the opposite direction had I gotten a different variation. But that's just the luck of the draw I guess. Until next month Glossy-B...
