The Hunger Games are a series of books written by Suzanne Collins. And now, as I am sure you have heard, is turning out to be one the biggest films of the year! Here is my nail art as worn by Effie Trinket in the movie.

Glossybox For Men - March

So my boyfriend is subbed to Glossybox for men. It comes every 3 months and is £17.95.
There is deffinitely less thought and product searching put into the men's box, and I think it's slightly over priced.
Anyway, Here it is...

Estee Lauder Daywear BB Bare Face To Full Face Review

I have been using a few different BB creams and foundations recently, trying to find what I'm comfortable with. Turns out I'm comfortable with the £32 for 30ml (!!) Estee Lauder Daywear BB Creme. Damn it thats expensive! Here is another "Bare face to Full Face" review.

NOTD Jessica- Build Me A Pyramid, Damage Control!

My nail of the day lasted just that...a day. It's not that the varnish is bad quality as I get terrible tip wear whether I'm wearing OPI or Barry M. I normally have 2 days off work in a row, so paint my nails on the first day and like it to last to the end of the second day...Not too much to ask for surely!
Any way here is my NOTD with around 5 hours wear

Benefit Porefessional Review

The Benefit Porefessional is something I have been using on and off since I got it at Christmas. It's hard to work it into my everyday routine because I never used any sort of primer before this, so I forget it even exsists despite keeping it right next to all the face products I use everyday.

Ojon Hair Care

Ojon is a brand I saw in a CCO and spat my coffee out at the price. At around £20 per bottle of shampoo, plus another £20 for the conditioner I just CAN'T spend that much! The high price did however get me wondering just how good can it REALLY be?

Lusted After, Drooled Over Nail Polish Wish List

My list of nail polishes that I need (Yes! NEED!) in my life is ever steadily growing. Here are my top priority buys (or swaps if any of my beauty box swap kittens are reading ;) ...you know you want me to have them!)
This Violet sexy bit of nail drama is Illamasqua's Jo'mina. Lilac is my favourite colour, and any kind of purple pleases me greatly. I need it, I want it and I must have it!
I have never spent £13.50 on a nail varnish...but this just might be worth it!

Happy Mother's day!

Elle Layla Smith made me a mummy back on  September 11th 2009, she was born at 4:54pm weighing 9lbs exactly. It's been testing and difficult but by god it's been worth it! She has not let a day go by without making me smile at least once. Here is a collection of some of my favourite photo's:

My Nail Varnish Collection

A blog on my modest nail polish collection. It's not big or overly impressive but I love it ever so much. I can spend quite an unreasonable amount of time lovingly re-arranging them in their little boxes. And sometimes...I just open the drawer, look at them, and close the drawer again. OK, I admit that is weird.

L'oreal Caresse Lipstick Review

I'm sick of trudging into Boots time after time looking for Rimmel lip butters so screw it, I'm going with L'oreals much sleeker, grown up looking version that is the Caresse lipstick...I mean it does come with a free monkey...

Chanel Perfection Lumiere- Bare faced to full faced review

Chanel's Perfection Lumiere foundation is something I hoped would be rubbish. At £36 a bottle, I needed this to be rubbish...

Paul Mitchell Smoothing Balm Review

I recieved the Paul Mitchell smoothing super skinny relaxing balm (Mouthful and a half!) in my February Glossybox. I took one look at the pump bottle and was instantly annoyed I had recieved a product for curly hair when I had stated I had straight hair in my beauty profile.

NOTD- Orly Bold Move and Max Factor Fantasy Fire

My nail of the day is a couple of coats of Orly- Bold Move which is a purple cream, and one coat of the elusive Max Factor shade- Fantasy Fire.

GLOSSYBOX March- Harrods Edition

Glossybox teamed up with Harrods for a special March edition. That's what the mystery card in the last Glossybox was eluding to. I have already seen allot of the contents of the various boxes for this month as the Glossy Ambassadors blogged about it early, so it was easy to find out and couldn't resist seeing what was in store!

Elemis Fresh Skin Exfoliator Review

I got this Elemis fresh Skin, Skin Glow Exfoliating face wash (what a mouthful!) when I went to the Britains Next Top Model show in London at the end of October so I think I have given it a fair try to be able to write a review. So here goes

Percy and Reed Finishing Polish Review

Obviously I picked up a copy of Glamour magazine for a measly £2 to receive the full size Percy and Reed hair product, Who wouldn't?! The product I decided on was the Finishing Polish...Although I'm not guaranteeing I won't collect all four!

Soap and Glory Winnings!!

Exciting times for one of those "I never win anything" type people that I am. I actualy won last weeks '2 minute rinse' on the Soap and Glory Facebook page. Overly excited for the goodies to arrive and arrive they did today!...

L'oreal professionnel INOA Winnings

I recently entered my hair colour into the INOA colour connect on the L'oreal Professionnel Facebook page. When you do this, you stand the chance of winning an INOA colour care bundle. My name was announced with 3 or 4 others and I recieved an email telling me I had won! Happy days! I was clueless about what I had actually won until it came to my door with my lovely postman.
