L'Oreal Micellar Water

It's been about a year since I first wanted to try the Bioderma cleansing water but I've been reluctant to spend money on shipping the stuff. I think it's also about time I uncrossed my fingers for a surprise trip to Paris where I can peruse the pharmacies and lug back a suitcase full of skincare any time soon! ;-)
So L'Oreal are offering up their version. A cleansing Micellar water. Gentle on skin yet effectively melting away the day's makeup.

I love it. I'm just going to put that straight out there. Urghhh it's so fantastic.
Completely fragrance and colour free, you can practically pour it in your eye and it won't sting (but will make you question just why you poured it your eye in the first place)
It completely removes all makeup leaving behind a clean slate. And it's so effortless to use. I'm a makeup wipe kinda girl, baby wipes will do some days! I cleanse my face every morning in the shower but I just can't summon the energy for it at 10pm... "Ain't nobody got time for that" ;-) Three cotton pads loaded with this stuff takes off all my makeup in a few minutes flat, mess and faff free.

Below is with makeup on (left) and after removing said makeup with just this L'Oreal Water.

My only downside to this is how quickly it gets used up. The bottle could do with being bigger (like the monstrous Bioderma bottle)
If I use this every day, I can get through it in about a week and a half. So at around £4 a bottle, 'tis not the cheapest.
I will definitely repurchase this. It takes off my makeup with no fuss and doesn't leave my skin even the tiniest bit dry or tight feeling. No residue left on the skin either, just a fresh feeling.
I would still like to be able to compare this to Bioderma though. Curiosity is killing me!
C'est la vie, I'll just stick to this version until I get whisked away on that Paris trip ;-)

  4. I love this too. I'm about 10 days in and just over half left but then I do cleanse after so am probably using less!
