L'Occitane is a brand I have been hearing allot of lately. I had mainly heard of their hand creams but on further research I see that they make all sorts such as fragrance and bath products but even more interestingly, they produce makeup, which I'm very intrigued by. For now though I only own one of the most fabulous hand creams ever.
Enter L'Occitane- limited edition Dessert Rose hand cream. I will start off with mentioning the adorable packaging, for an art and craft freak like me, the acrylic paint type tube is really different to any beauty products I have come across. It's very kitsch and quirky for a hand cream and I like it, allot.
The cream itself is very thick and luxurious. I am a huge fan of anything rose scented, it is infact, my favourite scent for anything be it beauty related or right down to fabric conditioner and candles. So this fact has already made the hand cream a hit with me but what about its moisturinsing qualities? It leaves my skin so unbelievably smooth and soft, which in this harsh weather is a miracle!
I can't stand greasy hands, can't stand them to the point that I will put hand cream on and have to wash it off straight away. There is no such problem with L'Occitane, it is absorbed so quickly just leaving behind supple skin. Perfect!
This Dessert Rose scent is limited edition and available in 30ml but there are plenty other gorgeous scents such as Hibiscus or Cherry Blossom to choose from. The 30ml tubes are priced at £7.50. Larger 150ml sizes of their hand cream can also be found on their website for £17.50.
Have you tried any other L'Occitane products? I'd be really interested in what they are like.
