Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Flared Mascara

Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express Flared Mascara. Mouth full? Yes! Luckily it's an eyeful too so worth mentioning the colossal name!
Trying out yet another mascara. Ahhhh the passions of a beauty blogger!
Shifty close up eye pictures included for your viewing pleasure!

Fitted with a curved, big barrelled bristle brush It seems right up my street. I don't get on with plastic comb type mascara wands so I always keep my eye out for large bristled types (that's what she said)
Curved to grip every lash from corner to corner which I actually love and I'm not sure why more mascaras don't feature this!
Designed to give a false lash effect, lengthening and volumising lashes root to tip.
I really enjoy using this mascara, more so than the Benefit Bad Gal mascara I reviewed here and raved about. Little to no annoying panda eye smudges beneath my eyes throughout the day which have been a huge problem for me of late! No shedding of little black bits all over my cheeks either.

I don't wear false lashes as my stupid tiny face can't handle too much striking makeup but this does a fab job of giving all the benefits of false lashes (thick, separated long lashes) without being too much.

I would purchase it again, and I very well might, but blogging beauty products leaves me with little repurchasing opportunities as I am always wating to try the newest product out. That being said I'll be sad when it's all used up!

Available from Boots here for £7.99 along with the original Falsies version and the new Falsies Black Drama version.

  2. What are your eyebrows all about? They look overplucked.

    1. They are overplucked. Unfortunately I started plucking them at a very young age when I had Trichotillomania (the compulsive need to pull one's hair out) and when my head hair was really badly pulled I moved on to my eyebrows and plucked them to nothing. They didn't grow back properly.

    5. For someone to hide behind the 'anonymous' badge with such a comment, shows nothing but envy, and a severe lack of inner beauty.
      Rude to say the least.
And Emily, to be so brave as to overcome and discuss your compulsion, shows dignity and strength. You eyebrows and beautiful like the rest of you. Xxxx

  3. Emily hun, you have amazing eyebrows, i wish mine were like that You are not only beautiful on the outside, you are 1 of a few amazingly beautiful people on the inside. This anonymous is really sad if that is what she has to criticise. Ignore the usual haters hun, there are sadly, too many of them on this planet xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
